This Abstract Mosaic is approximately 7.5 inches in diameter. The actual middle mosaic is 4 inches in diameter and sits in a floating frame made of segmented African Padauk. The inner backing recess of the frame is flocked in a beautiful tan bisque velvet, allowing the art to pop. The mosaic is made up of hand cut triangular pieces of exotic wood, some wrapped with pure copper. The woods include Purpleheart, Rosewood, Padauk, and Manzanita. The piece also includes a bit of crushed Turquoise for visual interest. The pieces were then assembled and inlaid into midnight black resin.
