This Abstract Mosaic is approximately 7.5 inches in diameter. The actual middle mosaic is 4 inches in diameter and sits in a floating frame made of segmented African Padauk. The inner backing recess of the frame is flocked in a beautiful tan bisque velvet, allowing the art to pop. The mosaic is made up of hand-cut triangular pieces of exotic wood, some wrapped with pure copper. The woods include Purpleheart, Yellowheart, and Manzanita. The piece also includes a bit of crushed Turquoise for visual interest. The pieces were then assembled and inlaid into midnight black resin.
